for CADRE developers

The County of San Diego convened the Dual Diagnosis Workgroup and developed a Dual Diagnosis Strategic Plan (2000-2002). Dr. Ken Minkoff and Dr. Christie Cline designed a "Train the Trainer" implementation program and trained the first 30 CADRE members in CCISC in January 2003 over an 18 month period. The program has evolved over the years and now includeds over 300 CADRE trained members. The ultimate goal of San Diego County CADRE is to help develop an entire system of care that is welcoming, recovery-oriented, integrated, trauma-informed, and culturally competent.
